A Weil-McLain
oil-fired multiple zone heating system circulates
radiant heat with recirculating hot water from inside
the sub-surface of the first and lower level floors.
Other areas of the house are served by recirculating
hot water in baseboard units. Hot water is provided
by a Weil-McLain indirect heater. The state-of-the-art
MANABLOC plumbing system utilizes a modular water
distribution manifold. PEX hot and cold distribution
lines supply each side of every plumbing fixture
with its own dedicated line. An air purification
system in conjunction with ceiling fans circulate
air throughout the house.
Water
is provided by a 485' drilled Artesian well, which
flows at 100 gallons per minute. The water is notable
for its clarity and sweetness.
TECHHOME has wired every room in the house with
telephone/fax, DSL & broad-band data/video structured
wiring including multiple CAT5e, CAT6, RG6 Quad
Coax, and fiber optical cable. These features provide
connectivity with computers, high-speed internet
sharing, security, and audio/video entertainment
products. The house is also pre-wired for multi-source
(DVD, satellite, VHS, HDTV, cameras, PC, etc), multi-zone
distribution (10 in all). A movie in the VCR, DVD
player, satellite, digital cable box etc., can be
viewed selectively from any or all televisions in
the house at any given time. Additionally, these
devices can be operated via remote control from
any room in the house. The system supports reception
and distribution of all current smart home technologies
as well as future connectivity protocols soon to
be available.
